Outdoor Sprinkler Systems and Water Damage
Most people think of water damage coming from storms or flood or broken pipes and toilets, but if you have an automatic outdoor garden and yard sprinkler system that you hardly ever think about, it’s time to think about them once more! You should check your outdoor sprinkler system at least once per year.
Underground leaks due to broken equipment allows water to leak out of the system. Excessive watering could lead to runoff, which could come back to you dwelling and cause underground and structural damage.
You should check your sprinkler heads, main & lateral lines and valve box on a regular basis. Misaligned and tilted heads as well as blocked heads can cause underground water issues.
Checking these simple equipment issues can help with any future damages to your structure and personal property.
