Hot Water Heater Gives Way

This business had what they thought was a small water heater leak. An employee noticed a small leak on a Friday evening in the basement of a restaurant. The employee did not want to bother the owner as it was late and they thought it was just a tiny drip.  The employee put a few towels around the area and left a note for the manager on Monday.  The water heater's drip got more intense over the weekend. The water heater eventually gave way and water poured into the area all weekend long.  SERVPRO of Hockessin/Elsmere was able to help this customer overcome this issue.  We were able to pump out the water and treat the affected area.  Since the area was in the basement running our equipment was not a nuisance to the establishment.
